Rovers’ Hodgson wary of Broncos challenge
Rovers host Super League’s bottom club tomorrow fresh from a morale-boosting 38-24 success over Hull FC at Magic Weekend.
That saw them replace their rivals in the play-off reckoning and hooker Hodgson feels it can initiate another winning run.

“It gets us competing again in that eight now.
“It was great for the squad and you can tell at training everyone’s all happy and all smiles building up to London.
“They are getting better and better each week, though.
“They were unlucky not to win at Magic Weekend so we won’t take them lightly.”
Indeed, London, who have lost all 14 games this year, only missed out on their first point of the campaign when Josh Drinkwater was off-target with a late conversion attempt in their 24-22 defeat against Catalan Dragons in Manchester.

Rovers, though, having picked up their first victory in four outings, are looking to re-discover the consistency that saw them string four successive wins up to Easter.
They are bolstered by the potential early return of Adam Walker from an ankle injury that was expected to keep him out for weeks.
He was named in Craig Sandercock’s 19-man squad yesterday and if the powerful prop comes through today’s final session unscathed he should feature with James Green having dropped out.

“There’s a lot of work I still need to work on but full credit to our pack.
“This year we’ve signed some really good players and had some great go-forward.
“When you’re a dummy-half playing off the back of good pack it makes it lot easier,” added Hodgson.
“One thing we have got is strength in depth.
“We’ve not had that in previous seasons but now if someone does drop out we’ve got a great replacement to step in.
“Last week was a huge game but now we have to build on that against London.”
