Thackray in at double for in-form Rams
Rochdale Hornets put up a bold fight against a seasoned Dewsbury side which the scoreline flattered. Two penalties and six second-half tries won it for Glenn Morrison’s men.
Tommy Gallagher gave the visitors the lead midway through the first half. Tom Hemingway could not convert and Hornets pounced to take the lead just before half-time with possibly the best try of the match from Matt Dawson, who sprang through the middle to score. Crook added the extras.
