Popular free music festival's 25th anniversary this weekend
The annual Clarence Park Festival will be taking place from 12pm to 8.45pm on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July at the park off Denby Dale Road, Wakefield.
The free festival, which is organised by Wakefield Music Collective, was launched in 1991 and attracts thousands of music fans every year.

Hide AdThis year the event is marking the festival’s 25th anniversary.
It remains the county’s longest running free music event.
More than twenty performers will take to the stage throughout the weekend at the park’s tent stage and bandstand.
Rock band Cold Summer will be kick off with the show with a performance on Saturday.
Headliners for this year’s event on Saturday are Dub Vocaliza.

Hide AdAnd performances will take place at the same time on Sunday, which is headlined by Issimo.
Other bands to perform at the weekend include Dear Friends, The Blinders, Gamma Rays, Djana Gabrielle and Loz Campbell.
