Stranglers rocking into Leeds and Sheffield
Known for the hit song ‘Golden Brown’ which peaked at No.2 in the UK Singles Chart, the band’s highest ever placing in the chart.
The band will be touring their vintage third album, Black and White, starting on March 9th.

A brief history...
Originally called ‘The Guildford Stranglers’, the rock band formed on September 11th 1974 making their first music in a local off-license.
They were the first of their kind, starting the ‘Punk scene’ in the UK. Along the way they’ve also managed to acquire 23 UK Top 40 singles and 17 Top 40 albums.
Their most most noticeable albums being ‘No More Heros’ and ‘Black and White’ released in 1977 and 1988 respectively.

In 2010 they played festivals including Weyfest, T in The Park and Glastonbury and their now embarking on their first UK tour since 2013, visiting Yorkshire twice in March.
